MODERN ORNAMENTAL FISH HATCHERY IN JHAJJAR

Haryana govt has decided to set up an ornamental fish hatchery in Jhajjar district at a cost of Rs. 13.68 cr nad 16000 acre water logged land.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA AIRPORT TOPPED CUSTOMER SATISFACTION INDEX SURVEY

Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, Chhattisgarh,  once again ranked first in Customer Satisfaction Index Survey among 49 Airports in the Country.
  •          It has topped third time in two years.
  •          SVA has the highest score 4.84 and it is followed by Udaipur, Amritsar and Dehradun which have scored 4.75, 4.74 and 4.73 respectively.
  •          This survey covers a wide range of parameters like transportation, parking, facilities and cleanliness etc.
  •          Raipur is the Capital City of Chhattisgarh.

HiFiRE HYPERSONIC MISSILE
  •          HiFire hypersonic missile is the joint operation of The United States and Australia.

SOYUZ ROCKET

“GANGA AVAHAN BOOK”

“Ganga Avahan – The Epic Tale of a Historic Swim” book was released by Defence Minister Mr. Arun Jaitely. This was a historic open –water swim campaign on the Ganga River. This was the First ever Human Effort to swim down the entire stretch of the river.
A 9 member team of 3 swimmers and 6 rafters, which was led by acclaimed International Open-Water Swimmer Wg Cdr Paramvir Singh, was flagged-off in New Delhi on 1st Oct 2015

FALUN GONG, 15 JULY 2017

Falun Gong, the ancient Chinese holistic system that is banned in China was celebrated in India on 15th July by Falun Dafa Association of India. “On this occasion over 200 practitioners of Falun Dafa from India and other countries will participate in a Peace Parade and Human Word Formation at Connaught Place to spread the message of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance which are the basic principles of Falun Dafa,” said a release from the Falun Dafa Association of India.

OBITUARIES

LIU XIAOBO:  Chinese Nobel Peace Prize Winner who recently passed away. He was incarcerated as a political prisoner in Jinzhou. On 26 June 2017, he was granted medical parole after being diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and he died in hospital on 13 July 2017.
