THE HINDU VOCABS WITH MNEMONICS PART-2


1) SURLY ( असभ्य )
Mnemonics: I hate surly nature teachers but love amicable teachers.
Synonyms: Grumpy, Unfriendly, Morose,  Irritable
Antonyms: Friendly, Kind, Amicable

2) ALLURE ( लुभाना, मोहना )
Mnemonics: jab kisi Ko apna kaam nikalvana hota hai to LAALACH dete hai or
 kehte hai ALL URS jo kahoge vo sab milega  ....
Synonyms: Attract, Entice, Tempt
Antonyms: Repel, Tiresome

3) MODICUM (कम)
Mnemonics: There are very LESS people like Mr. MODI
Synonyms: Little, Less, Fraction
Antonyms: Whole, Lot, Entirely

4) REMINISCENCE ( संस्मरण )
Mnemonics: (sounds like remind)
This place Reminds me all the Scenes.
Synonyms: Memory, Remembrance, Flashback
Antonyms: Forget

5) EXUBERANCE ( अधिकता )
Mnemonics: sounds like extra.. Remember in school days everyone ask for extra
rubber (UBER) ? 
Kisi K pass extra rubber hai kya 😉
Synonyms: Plethora, Overabundance, Plentitude
Antonyms: Lack, Scarcity, Shortage

6) MARRED (
बिगाड़ना ) - impair the appearance of
Mnemonics: Ladne k baad log kehte hai  Maar Maar(MARR) k chehra Bigaad Dunga.
Synonyms: Disfigure, Damage
Antonyms: Fixed, Mended, Repair

7) AVERSION ( घृणा, विरुचि )
Mnemonics: I HATE this new VERSION.
Synonyms: Dislike, Disgust, Loath
Antonyms: Like, Affection, Attachment

8) OSTENTATIOUS (दिखावटी)
Mnemonics: sounds like precious
vo dekho us (OS) ka TENT kitna Precious (Showy/fancy) sa dikh Raha hai
Synonyms: Showy, Fancy, Pretentious
Antonyms: Simple, Ordinary

9) OPULENT (धनी)
Mnemonics: Oppo (Opulent) jaisa mehnga  phone Wealthy​ log hi le sakte hai poor nahi.
Synonyms: Wealthy, Rich, Splendid
Antonyms: Poor, Penniless

10) CONUNDRUM ( पहेली )
Mnemonics: Samjh Ni AA Raha (confused) itni raat mai CON DRUM Baja Raha hai.
Synonyms: Puzzle, Riddle, Confusing
Antonyms: Explication, Outcome
